World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Upgrades to items are an essential part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase the base damage as well as enhancements of items.
They also provide bonus effects and improvements. They can be acquired through the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Each recycled item adds one level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When a weapon is upgraded, it is granted an initial damage bonus as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components have cosmetic effects, while others offer additional features. These upgrades can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, or gathering tools, and most require that the equipment have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from an armored weapon, weapon or trinket, but it will not be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be recovered by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-end salvage tool on the item it self.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that boosts certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done via the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times depending on the weapon's level.
After the weapon has reached its maximum level of upgrade and is then modified to give different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. These upgrades can all be applied at once and their effects will differ based on how rare the weapon is.
Two Blacksmiths can perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both upgrade materials differ: Smithing Stones to modify the damage weapons deal and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.
It is generally advised to improve weapon damage first, followed by armour defense, and then the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading other equipment. This can help increase DPS. This is especially true for enchantments, which are extremely effective in boosting the damage of a weapon and other stats.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to boost the effectiveness of specific weapons, armors trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools. These upgrades can also give additional effects, such as additional damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, loot drop or as rewards for quests.

Most armor upgrades increase the item's strength or defense by a small amount. Some upgrades, however, can result in significant increases in defense or strength. This is particularly the case when upgrading epic items.
Some upgrades provide specific abilities that can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be extremely beneficial in combat. For instance they can boost attack speed or block. Some upgrades have passive effects that are useful, such as decreasing damage when wearing armor, or increasing the chance to dodge an attack.
Based on the type of armor, upgrading an item may require multiple attempts. For instance, if a player wanted to upgrade an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between the ages of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has the base defense between 67 and 77, and so on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains that are located in the game. Each of these locations has a powerful fair who can change the quality of an item of armor for you.
Despite popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. Certain armors give a substantial increase in the ability to reduce the damage caused by poison or curse, magic or fire. This makes them very useful for certain types of builds. There are other ways to improve armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor such as the engineer trait to boost armor penetration, or the challenger trait to reduce total weight.
Potion
By putting a potion in a brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new tier of potion effects, and can be repeated for more potencies.
The potion also gets a custom color code, that the player can pick by using /give. This affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color of the potion also affects the potions' particle effects.
The water bottle, a common, thick and awkward potions now have a brand new texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory potion healing and weakness are now available. Addition of lingering potions, which can be brewed with splash potions or Dragon breath. Additionally, there is a thick potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Trinket
A trinket could be a small, inexpensive ornament or piece jewelry. This can be a ring, necklace, or even a small flag used to mark a boat's yard that is lateen. It could also refer to a gilded trinket that is connected to the mast of a boat.
This macabre trinket seems to be influencing the denizens of this maze and making them more popular. At present, this trinket makes all kinds of mimic Xx more common, and gives each floor the chance of having an ebony-colored mimic. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.
The enchanted Scepter's magic appears to influence the dungeon, increasing its likelihood of generating grass and water. At its current level, this trinket will make X% of regular floors become filled with water or grass but it doesn't affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed weapons or armor, or other items created to aid in the elimination of hazards.
This item, which looks like eyes of a newt appears to alter your vision in a way that goes beyond just reducing your field-of-view. At the moment, this trinket can increase the total health of the drinkers of healing, waterkins, and wells of health by X% and grants mind the ability to see enemies within the Y tiles. This is not a stacking feature with Heightened Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates in Skull Cavern. They are not in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket in the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will have an unintended effect on the trinket, either prolonging its life or strengthening its effects. You can reforge an item multiple times as often as you wish, however it will always have an impact that is different from the one it was when you made it.
You can also upgrade your Trinkets by placing them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost 6 energy, but will increase the power of the trinket by a tiny amount.
